Q: Avi, where are you based out of?

Avi Dan-Goor – A: I’m based out of Las Vegas, Nevada!

Q: What do you love about real estate?

Avi Dan-Goor – A: People. It’s a short answer, but it really is the common denominator of what I love about this business. I’ve met some of my closest friends through real estate—including people I cherish the most as mentors and people that I look up to.

Q: Can you share some of your background in real estate?

Avi Dan-Goor – A: I was born and raised in Israel. I moved to Las Vegas 23 years ago. I started in hotel management, and then I got into real estate 17 years ago, and never looked back. I service the entire Las Vegas, which is primarily Henderson and Las Vegas, and focus on some of the high-end communities like Summerlin, Green Valley, McDonald Highlands, and so on.

Q: What is a key aspect that has contributed to your success and do you have any icons, celebrities, or CEOs you are inspired by?

Avi Dan-Goor – A: Relationships are a key part of it and a really great assistant is always behind a successful agent. Successful realtors are good at selling. We’re good at people so we need assistants around us to do the rest of the analytical stuff. Another key aspect is discipline. In Real estate, you can get very lucky, but you can also work hard and produce. It’s definitely a business that if you only rely on luck, its just a short-lived career.

I definitely have people that I look up to. One thing that I try to do is always surround myself with people that I can learn from. So keeping healthy relationships with other successful agents is very important because we can always learn from each other.

Q: Aside from real estate, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Avi Dan-Goor – A: I love traveling, cooking, and animals. Real Estate is a 24/7 kind of job, so it doesn’t matter what I do as it’s always part of work in a way, but I have always been a social being, and exploration, entertaining, and being around people and being inspired by people both in my personal and professional life is what I enjoy.
